- Teen Advisory Board--T.A.B. We usually meet on the 1st Monday of each month--except for months like this one when we are closed on the 1st Monday. 23 teens. 12 & older, met Mon Sept. 8, to eat, play games, plan programs, and earn volunteer time. We meet again on Oct. 8--again not the first Monday--to finish plans for the Fall Festival on Sat. Oct. 18.
- Over 30 teens enjoyed Craft Mania last week. They made tie dye t-shirts and duct tape creations! Check out the pictures on this blog and on the Teen board in the library.
- Our next monthly gaming program will be on Wed. Oct. 29 at 3:30. Enjoy a variety PlayStation & Wii games along with snacks & pop! Tournaments with prizes for all who want to participate! You may enjoy open gaming before that, since there is only 1/2 day of school.
- Our annual Fall Festival is coming on Oct. 18, Sat, 1-3. Three years ago the T.A.B. decided to have a this fest for the community in celebration of Teen Read Week. The theme that year was Get Active @ Your Library. That year and every year since we have had games, crafts, movies, and more to celebrate. Last year more than 250 people joined the fun @ their library! Earn lots of volunteer time having fun and helping at this important T.A.B. event!

Teens @ the Library
School's started and now it's teens, teens, teens @ the library! At 2:40 each week day the rush begins as teens walk over from the school next door. And we have lots for them here @ the library!
