Events for Teens @ the Cedar Lake Branch Library
BOOK BRACKETOLOGY
ALL MONTH LONG
Enjoy a March Madness-style tournament all month in celebration of Teen Read Week. Top ten nominated books for 2012 will be posted bracket-style. Every time you vote for your favorite in the daily pairing, you will be entered into a drawing. The winning book and the teen winner will be announced at the end of Oct. Nominated books will be on display and available for check out.

Mon. Nov. 5 @ 4pm
Members of T.A.B., Teen Advisory Board, & those wishing to join (12 to 17 years of age) will eat, play games, & plan programs. Earn volunteer hours.

Vampire/human/werewolf/monster! You choose. Crafts, food & games for prizes!

LEGO MANIA
Thurs., Nov. 1 @ 4:30
Children build and display Lego creations. You help them find pieces, build, and display them.
READER LEADER WITH PIPER & BAILEY
Tues. Nov. 20 @ 4:30
Work with younger children on reading and reading games & activities.
SUPER SCRABBLE
Fri. & Sat. Nov. 23 & 24, 10-2
Children and families are play Scrabble at the library.
CELEBRATE BOOKS CRAFTING FUN
Sat. Nov. 10, 10-12
All ages will celebrate Children's Book Week with a variety of crafts, including envelope books!
HOLIDAY MAGIC FAMILY FUN
Mon., Nov. 26 at 6:30
Celebrate the season with stories, crafts and more. Make an ornament for the library tree & one to take home, too!
If you are not a library volunteer, but want to help, just see a staff member at the desk to sign up! You must be 11 or older.
